Leona is a series of hand-beaded earrings inspired by American quilting. In the south of Georgia, Trecy Bleich grew up using homemade quilted blankets made by her great aunt Leona. The earrings are hand beaded with recycled Japanese glass matte beads. To add a modern touch they are finished with pearl-like anodized aluminum, 14K gold filled beads then threaded with cotton.
