Are you open for in-person shopping?
Due to COVID-19, the Guthrie Store is closed for in-person shopping at this time. We invite you to browse our online shop, which features shipping and curbside pickup options.
When are your curbside pickup hours?
Our current hours are:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
If these times don't work for you, contact Kay McGuire at email@example.com or 612.225.6300 to coordinate a plan B. As a reminder, all products can be shipped within the U.S.
How does curbside pickup work?
When you check out online, select "Pick up" as your delivery method. You'll receive an email from us when your order is ready for pickup. This email will also include detailed instructions about where to park and how to let us know you've arrived. In short, you'll pull up in front of the theater, call us at 612.225.6000 and we'll bring your order to your vehicle.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Our online store accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Elo and Shop Pay. If you order by phone, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
When will my order ship?
Orders are typically shipped within five to seven days of purchase. Please email us if you need special handling or delivery by a specific date.
Can I track my order?
Once your order is in transit, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a link to track your order. Please note it may take 24–48 hours for your tracking information to appear. If you have other questions about your order, send us an email.
How do I change or cancel my order?
Email us your request and we'll do our best to assist you.
What is your return policy?
Guthrie Store products are handpicked for quality and artistry with the intention to delight our customers. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or need an exchange, email us and explain why you are returning or exchanging your purchase. Then ship your item(s) back to:

NOTE: Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. All returned items must be unopened and in their original packaging to receive a refund or an exchange. The Guthrie Store reserves the right to deny any refund or exchange.
May I purchase a gift card or certificate?
Sorry, but we are unable to sell gift cards or certificates to the Guthrie Store at this time.
Do you offer personal shopping?
Yes! Kay McGuire, Director of Retail and Merchandising, curates the products in the store and is happy to help. Email us to request a personal shopping experience with Kay.
How do you choose your artists and products?
The Guthrie Store is committed to working with Minnesota makers and companies who create functional, well-designed and distinctive work from many points of view. We look for products that speak to the themes on our stages, spark curiosity, and delight a wide range of ages, styles and sensibilities.
I'm an artist interested in selling my work at the Guthrie Store. Where do I begin?
To submit your products or concepts for review, email us with a description of your product/concept ideas, photographs that show examples of your work, and links to your social media channels, Etsy shop or wholesale website. We love to hear what inspires you, so please share your story or an artist statement with your submission.
Do products ever go on sale?
Yes! Just keep an eye out for things marked on sale when you shop online.
Do you offer any discounts?
Guthrie Theater subscribers receive a 10% discount (restrictions may apply). Learn how to become a subscriber here.
How do I use my subscriber discount when shopping online?
During the checkout process, look for a field that says "Discount code." Enter the subscriber discount code you received from the Guthrie (likely in an email or benefits packet) and click "Apply." The screen will update and show your discounted total.
How does my purchase support the Guthrie Theater?
The gifts in the Guthrie Store give right back. Whenever you shop, proceeds from your purchase help support artists and invest in Guthrie programs.
What should I get for the person who has everything?
Funny you should ask! We keep these savvy folks in mind when choosing products for the Guthrie Store, selecting unique, quirky finds they probably don't need but can't live without. If you're stumped, we'll help you find just the thing. Drop us a line and tell us who you're shopping for.
