Tradition Textiles is run by Deborah Emmett and Riyaz Hakim, a husband-and-wife team who have divided their time between homes in Sydney, Australia, and Delhi, India, since 2003. With a focus on using only quality natural fibers, Deborah uses her background in graphic design and the visual arts to create new print designs each season in collaboration with artisans who specialize in specific techniques like weaving and printing. Tradition Textiles supplies businesses throughout Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the U.S. with their collections of scarves, throws and clothing crafted with natural fibers and a slow fashion ethos.
