“Pottery is such an intimate art form. I’m initially drawn in by how a piece looks, but then become connected to how it feels. It is art that lives in your cupboards and joins you for dinner.”

Sara L’Heureux is a Twin Cities-based potter who makes functional stoneware. Her focus is on creating ceramics incorporated into daily life, from mugs you enjoy with your morning coffee to special pieces for a celebration. Sara works professionally in theater production and makes pieces inspired by design elements from Guthrie Theater shows.
