Kar-Keat Chong is a Twin Cities-based architect and artist. Born and raised in Penang, Malaysia, he studied drawing and watercolor painting with renowned local artists when he was 14. He primarily sketches and paints on location, striving to capture the atmospheric quality of a place at a particular moment.
