Elaine Woldorsky works in porcelain and uses brushwork that references nature, urban scenes and social commentary. A graduate of Pratt Institute and the University of Minnesota, Elaine is also a founder and board member of the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis. She taught ceramics and fiber arts at Metropolitan State University in Saint Paul for 13 years and continues to teach in New York, Minnesota, California and New Mexico. Her work has been exhibited at Ginko Gallery and Studio, the National Functional Pottery Show and the Clay Cup IX as well as in Best of Pottery by Quarry Books and 500 Teapots by Lark Ceramic Books.
