Mural Artist and Graphic Designer
Golden Valley, Minnesota
“My goal is to bring art into each Minnesotan’s every day.”
Adam Turman is a Twin Cities artist whose bold illustrations riff on Minnesota culture with stylized takes on everything from the Stone Arch Bridge to Babe the Blue Ox. His murals can be found all over Minnesota and his prints in private collections worldwide. Adam grew up in the Twin Cities and got his start making gig posters for bands coming through popular local music venues, drawing inspiration from the bold, graphic style of 1980s art and comics. After working as an in-house graphic designer for the University of Minnesota, Adam took his studio practice full time in 2003 and has become one of Minnesota’s most popular artists.
