From the artist, Becka Rahn:

1. Sailing the Seine This fabric was created from a cut paper illustration made from painted and recycled papers. I scanned the original illustration and digitally added a pointillism texture. It was inspired by the sailboats on the pond in the painting “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte” by Georges Seurat.

2. Rue de Magenta This design is named for the Paris street where Georges Seurat lived. It is an original digital illustration of an imagined Paris skyline as painted in the style of Seurat.

3. Palette This fabric was created from a cut paper illustration made from painted and recycled papers. I scanned the original illustration and digitally added a pointillism texture. It was inspired by a painter’s palette with its individual spots of color.
